BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – Reading or Home-based

Ayurveda Retreat is a medispa located in Reading, Berkshire, offering treatments based on Ayurveda, the Indian holistic system. It opened its doors in summer 2006, and has since established itself as a leading Ayurvedic centre in the UK. The company would now like to accelerate its growth by expanding its service offering as well as extending its geographical presence.

In order to facilitate this, Ayurveda Retreat is looking for a dynamic individual with a demonstrable track record of achievement and success to join the team at management level. The successful candidate may have a corporate background and would like to take on a new challenge in order to match their entrepreneurial zeal with their interest in holistic practices and flair for marketing and business development. This role carries with it the responsibility for delivering the targeted business plan, which the successful candidate will have input in putting together. You will also be responsible for rolling out a new business venture for the company in a related field.

Ayurveda Retreat has a number of USPs and is well-positioned to benefit from the growing interest, and need, for natural healthcare, both Ayurvedic as well as other types of complementary therapy.

Key skills required are great commercial acumen, lots of initiative, energy, drive to make things happen, as well as an analytical mind.
