This section of our website is aimed at journalists and members of the press. If you would like an authoritative view of the Ayurvedic perspective on any health and well-being matter, Ayurveda Retreat can provide that.
About Ayurveda Retreat
Ayurveda Retreat opened in summer 2006 with a unique concept in mind – to be an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the heart of a bustling town centre where people can come in and melt away their stress, and rejuvenate completely in as little as 40 minutes for value for money cost. In addition, by being located in an easily accessible area (as opposed to being a retreat tucked away in the countryside), we bring the incredible health benefits of Ayurveda to the wider public, many of whom are not in perfect health, and would otherwise not have easy access to holistic healthcare.
All our Ayurvedic treatments are therapeutic and aimed at re-dressing imbalances which are often the root cause of ill health. We have a qualified and experienced team of Ayurvedic consultants who help people to regain their health.
About Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old science that originates from India. In short, it empowers every individual to become aware of their mind and body so that they can live in perfect health without succumbing to illnesses. It is an incredibly profound science, yet one that is intuitive and relatively easy to follow. The core of treatment plans is dietary advice, with Ayurvedic herbs being sometime recommended to re-dress balance.
