Ok, so there are only a couple of days to go before Father’s Day and you still haven’t managed to get yourself in gear and sort a present for dad. Problem is, you can’t for the life of you think what to get him. A tie used to be the fail-safe option but he’s now retired so that’s pointless. Wine would be a great option if he hadn’t just taken advantage of Waitrose’s latest offer. A CD would be perfect if you hadn’t just given him one for his birthday, which sadly leaves…not a lot of options. Humph.
There is, of course, the possibility of just cooking him a meal and offering your best ‘it’s the thought that counts’ face, but let’s face it; he’s bound to feel a little bit put out that your mum always gets a meal AND at least one gift. Mums are without a doubt easier to buy for, though; what woman doesn’t like flowers, chocolates or pampering? Pampering? Hmmmmm…there’s a thought. It might not be something dad would actively seek out, but if he was treated to a little back massage, let’s say; maybe he’d actually quite like it? Only one way to find out, I guess!
Check out our body massages page to see if there’s anything you think might float his boat given our range of luxurious Ayurvedic massages include a relaxing Indian head massage for as little as £18, a tension-relieving back massage from only £28, and a deep-tissue massage for the whole body starting at only £40.
If, however, you’ve now got the opposite problem to originally and feel you have too many options, why not get him an Ayurvedic treatment voucher so that he can decide for himself. After all; it is his day….
